Dermed passerer vi straks enda et rundt tusentall: 88.000.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00c5R SANT SKAL SIES &#8211; og det skal det jo, ikke minst i en kommentar om oss selv &#8211; s\u00e5 er dette p\u00e5 langt n\u00e6r rekordtall for nettstedet. &laquo;Gamle LM&raquo; rundet jo utrolige \u00e9n million bes\u00f8k et \u00e5r.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men hvor n\u00f8yaktig var telleverket p\u00e5 denne serveren? Kanskje ikke s\u00e5 n\u00f8yaktig som det vi har n\u00e5, p\u00e5 den sv\u00e6rt mye brukte WordPress-plattformen. At det skulle v\u00e6re en feilvisning p\u00e5 noen hundre tusen, st\u00e5r likevel ikke til troendes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00c5ret vi snart sier farvel til har v\u00e6rt et sv\u00e6rt krevende \u00e5r for \u00f8konomien i norsk presse &#8211; for de store s\u00e5vel som for de sm\u00e5 og mellomstore aviser og mediehus. Selv det som ofte benevnes som b\u00e6rebjelken i norsk presse, Norsk Telegrambyr\u00e5 (NTB) har t\u00f8ffe tider og avvikler sin minste avdeling, for produksjon av illustrasjoner.<\/p>\n<p>TIDENE SKIFTER &#8211; og skal nettavisa &laquo;med st\u00e5sted i det n\u00e6re&raquo; fortsatt v\u00e6re gratis \u00e5 bes\u00f8ke? S\u00e5nn at reklamen skal v\u00e6re eneste inntektsgrunnlag?<\/p>\n<p>Kanskje, kanskje ikke. Enkelte akt\u00f8rer p\u00e5 nettet &#8211; som gjerne er organer for ulike interesseorganisasjoner &#8211; har valgt den gylne middelvei. De gir gratis tilgang til arkivstoff som er minst ett \u00e5r gammelt, men likevel interessant nok for mange &#8211; s\u00e6rlig de som googler etter noe de trenger \u00e5 vite til en skriftlig oppgave.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hva vi ender opp med her, t\u00f8r jeg ikke si noe om i dag. Men omtrent det samme skrev jeg vel for et \u00e5r eller to siden. 2024 b\u00f8r derfor v\u00e6re \u00e5ret da denne viktige beslutningen blir tatt.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>F\u00f8rste trinn blir da \u00e5 bestille en utredning fra v\u00e5rt vertskap Nordic Hosting AS &#8211; om kostnader og tekniske muligheter for en slik l\u00f8sning, fortsatt p\u00e5 WordPress.<\/p>\n<p>Et premiss m\u00e5 uansett v\u00e6re at det, for dere lesere, skal v\u00e6re et <em>lavpris-konsept<\/em>.
