\"\"(Publisert 06.02.24) Samefolkets dag (s\u00e1mi \u00e1lbmotbeaivi) 6. februar er felles for alle samer i Norge, Sverige, Finland og Russland. Dagen ble feiret for f\u00f8rste gang i 1993, samtidig med at FN offisielt \u00e5pnet det internasjonale \u00e5ret for urfolk.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Datoen markerer det f\u00f8rste samlende m\u00f8tet for ulike samiske organisasjoner og aktivister – i Trondheim 6. februar 1917 – med deltakere fra Norge og Sverige.<\/p>\n

Dette var f\u00f8rste gang i historien at nord- og s\u00f8rsamer fra ulike land samlet seg for \u00e5 dr\u00f8fte felles saker og problemstillinger.<\/p>\n

ELSA LAULA RENBERG – en samisk organisasjonsbygger, reindriftssame og jordmor – <\/span>sto bak b\u00e5de ideen og selve m\u00f8tet, som samlet over hundre deltakere. Renberg er begravet ved Dolstad kirke i Mosj\u00f8en.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Hun var ogs\u00e5 med p\u00e5 \u00e5 stifte verdens f\u00f8rste sameforening \u2013 Lapparnas Centralf\u00f6rbund \u2013 i Stockholm, allerede\u00a0 i 1904.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dagen omtales b\u00e5de som \u00absamefolkets dag\u00bb og \u00absamisk folkedag\u00bb. Nasjonaldagen ble vedtatt av Samekonferansen i 1992, og i 2003 ble 6. februar offisiell flaggdag i Norge.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n
