(Publisert 19.03.24) En aldri s\u00e5 liten merkedag i dag: Ved 16-tiden ble innlegg nummer 800 p\u00e5 v\u00e5r WordPress-plattform publisert. <\/strong><\/p>\n

For ikke \u00e5 glemme: Databasen for bilder, eller elementer som det heter p\u00e5\u00a0 dataspr\u00e5ket her, har passert 1600-tallet og st\u00e5r i dag p\u00e5 1625.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Trenger vi s\u00e5 mange bilder i basen? Godt sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l – som vi ogs\u00e5 har spurt oss selv, sist ved nytt\u00e5r i forbindelse med \u00e5rsrevisjonen for 2023.<\/p>\n

Svaret er nok at det klarer seg lenge. Eller mer presist: En full gjennomgang vil ganske sikkert vise at vi har s\u00e5 det dekker de aller fleste illustrasjonsbehov. I alle fall rent tematisk.<\/p>\n

Men opptil flere av tema-bildene b\u00f8r skiftes ut. Og for all del, n\u00e5r redakt\u00f8ren skal v\u00e6re revisor: Altfor mange har blitt for lite brukt.<\/p>\n

ET GRUNNFJELL i nettavisas f\u00f8rste \u00e5r var de mange flotte bildene til v\u00e5r egen fotograf, Sturla Strand. Ikke minst i den perioden da han deltok i noen av de mest krevende nettbaserte konkurransene som finnes i svart-hvitt-sjangeren.<\/p>\n

I en av dem kom han nesten «p\u00e5 pallen», som det heter i idrettsspr\u00e5ket. For ham selv var denne fjerdeplassen i sin temagruppe noe ekstra \u00e5 minnes for livet. Her «m\u00f8tte» han nemlig sitt store forbilde gjennom mange \u00e5r.<\/p>\n

Bildebasen v\u00e5r er i dag relativt lite preget av Sturlas bilder. Han har ogs\u00e5 tatt noen «hvileskj\u00e6r» til fordel for andre gj\u00f8rem\u00e5l. Men det kan jo v\u00e6re en anledning til litt gjenbruk – ikke minst for den yngre generasjon lesere.<\/p>\n
