Men dette m\u00f8tet ble <em>ikke<\/em> holdt i Son skole som vi tidligere har skrevet fordi det var der kommuneadministrasjonen holdt til. Bystyrem\u00f8tene ble holdt p\u00e5 Son Hotel (n\u00e5v. (Fotograf: Ukjent)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>(Publisert 08.04.24) (Korrigert 09.04.24) <strong>Det er i \u00e5r 60 \u00e5r siden Son ble innlemmet i Vestby kommune, mot massiv motstand ikke bare i Son, men ogs\u00e5 i Vestby.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>H\u00f8len ble sammensl\u00e5tt med Vestby allerede under krigen, i 1943. Dette vedtaket ble fattet av Nasjonal Samling (NS). Det ble derfor erkl\u00e6rt ugyldig like etter frigj\u00f8ringen &#8211; som alle andre vedtak fattet av NS under okkupasjonen.<\/p>\n<p>Stortinget valgte likevel \u00e5 vedta at de to kommunene skulle sl\u00e5s sammen.<\/p>\n<p>Men hva skulle kommunen hete?<\/p>\n<p>Fra Son kom forslaget \u00abS\u00e5ner kommune\u00bb, som var akseptabelt for b\u00e5de h\u00f8lninger og soninger.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I den stolte jordbruksbygda Garder i \u00f8st ville de at navnet skulle v\u00e6re intet mindre enn \u00abGardarike\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>VESTBY KOMMUNE ble valgt &#8211; p\u00e5 grunnlag av at dette allerede lenge hadde v\u00e6rt navnet p\u00e5 <em>prestegjeldet<\/em> som kommunen omfatter.<\/p>\n<p>Vestby ble gjennom formannskapslovene av 1837 opprettet som <em>landkommune<\/em>, men med noe mindre areal enn dagens kommune.<\/p>\n<p>HOVEDREGELEN var da at hvert prestegjeld skulle v\u00e6re en egen kommune.<\/p>\n<p>Men i Vestby prestegjeld hadde Son og H\u00f8len lenge v\u00e6rt <em>ladesteder<\/em> underlagt hovedstaden, Christiania, De ble derfor en egen bykommune, og denne ble delt i to i 1848.<\/p>\n<p>(Kilde: Wikipedia.no)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Views: 404<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(Publisert 08.04.24) (Korrigert 09.04.24) Det er i \u00e5r 60 \u00e5r siden Son ble innlemmet i Vestby kommune, mot massiv motstand ikke bare i Son, men ogs\u00e5 i Vestby.
