Slik blir tettsteder i Norge definert av Statistisk Sentralbyr\u00e5 (SSB).<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>MEN DET ER MER: Stedet skal ha minst 200 innbyggere. Og avstand mellom husene skal &laquo;normalt&raquo; ikke overstige 50 meter, som det presiseres i bestemmelsene.<\/p>\n<p>LM har tatt et dykk ned i statistikken for \u00e5 se hvor mange tettsteder vi har p\u00e5 st\u00f8rre steder med velkjente navn i v\u00e5rt n\u00e6re distrikt &#8211; pluss noen atskillig mindre n\u00e6re. <\/p>\n<p>F\u00d8R \u00c5 STARTE med de st\u00f8rste: I \u00d8stfold har vi to relativt store byer, Fredrikstad og Sarpsborg. Avstanden mellom dem er kort &#8211; s\u00e5 kort at SSB har gitt dem tettstedsnavnet Fredrikstad\/Sarpsborg. Tettstedet har 120.332 innbyggere.<\/p>\n<p>S\u00e5 kommer vi til tettstedet Moss med 49.428 innbyggere, og ganske mange av dem bor faktisk i Vestby kommune. Dette fordi kommunegrensen g\u00e5r ved S\u00f8ndre Brevik ca. 4 km fra Son. <\/p>\n<p><strong>S\u00e5 f\u00f8lger en lang rekke p\u00e5 nesten like store tettsteder, alle p\u00e5 8000-tallet. Mosj\u00f8en &#8211; i Vefsn kommune &#8211; har 8902 innbyggere og er nummer 59 i blant de 100 st\u00f8rste tettstedene<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>VESTBY ER B\u00c5DE et kommunenavn og et tettsted med 8334 innbyggere. Av de 100 st\u00f8rste er Vestby nummer 69, og nummer 70 Namsos med sine 8280 innbyggere. <\/p>\n<p>Hakk i h\u00e6l: 71 Lillesand, 8266 innbyggere; 72 Holmestrand med sine 8258. <\/p>\n<p>Vi avslutter med to i det n\u00e6re: Mysen 7026, nr. 83.
